This is SO exciting...

I'm sitting in my room and my cell phone reception is at SIX bars. Apparently they just installed and turned on a Verizon cell phone tower in Barrett. This makes my day.

In other news, Busch Gardens was awesome- especially Apollo's Chariot. Some people missed out a lot by skipping that ride... not least the hokey-pokey, spirit fingered coaster operator. :P But yeah, I had fun despite spending almost equal amounts of time waiting for the bus as I actually spent at the park. All I can say is, yay for discounted tickets. I'll post some exciting pictures soon. ;)

This morning I got up early to go gleaning... that was a lot of fun though harder work than I remembered. Someone somewhere is going to get a lot of apples soon. I'm just hoping I didn't get into poison ivy...

Now I just have to get through this next week and it's Fall Break! Plans right now include going to the MD Renaissance Faire Saturday with Katherine and Meera and whoever else wants to join (I KNOW some other ppl were interested...) Then probably DC one or two days... we're thinking of going to the Holocaust Museum. If anyone is home/around/free next weekend into Tuesday, let me know!

Ok, I'm off to be productive. I think this is the first Saturday I've had since getting here that I've had a free-ish afternoon.
